Experience the New Year the NightLife way at the California Academy of Sciences with a mahjong parlor, LED lion dance performances, and a special market featuring Asian-owned businesses. Please note this event is for ages 21+ only.

Over a dozen energetic lion dance performers will dance to the beat of gongs and drums while weaving their way through the Four Season Silicon Valley’s courtyard. Attendees are invited to stop by Quattro Restaurant & Bar afterward and enjoy a unique Lunar New Year handcrafted cocktail.

Welcome the 2023 Lunar New Year at the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo. This free event will feature lively lion dancers, acrobatic performances, photos with a life-sized costumed panda, calligraphers, and more!

The Millbrae Cultural Committee is hosting over 80 local vendors for a free Lunar New Year Festival. Highlights include a dragon and lion dance, as well as traditional performances and Chinese martial arts.

Join the City of Belmont and community partners to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit. This free event will take place at the City Hall entrance.
When: Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit in downtown Redwood City with lion dancers, martial artists, taiko drummers, and other live performers. There will also be free admission to the San Mateo County History Museum where children can participate in arts and crafts like creating a paper lantern, making a red envelope, and more!
