The San Francisco Peninsula Host Destination for 2024 MICHELIN Guide Ceremony
The San Francisco Peninsula hosted one of the most prestigious events in the culinary world: The 2024 MICHELIN Guide Ceremony. Held on Monday, August 5, at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, the ceremony showcased California's restaurants, honoring California chefs.
During this highly anticipated event, the MICHELIN Guide unveiled its latest list of distinguished California restaurants. Acclaimed chefs from across the golden state, along with national media, gathered at The Ritz-Carlton to celebrate culinary excellence and innovation.
An AgriCulture and Culinary Destination
John Hutar, President and CEO of The San Francisco Peninsula, expressed his enthusiasm about hosting the event. "We were deeply honored that our organization and the iconic Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay were selected to host such a prestigious culinary event," Hutar said. This meticulous process ensured that only the finest establishments were recognized.

Two Stars: Excellent cuisine, worth a detour
One Star: High-quality cooking, worth a stop
