This year's contest will be the 24th Annual Kahuna Kupuna, offering separate subdivisions for both men and women all the way up to age 80 and beyond for longboard and shortboard surfers. Awards for top finishers will be presented beginning at 6:00 PM at the contest site. Questions may be emailed to

This event is free to the viewing public. Click here by July 6 to pre-order a $15 boxed lunch and/or a $20 t-shirt.

The Kahuna Kupuna is the primary fundraiser for Pacifica's Environmental Family, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the discovery of and caring for the wealth of natural resources in Pacifica. Donations may be made online by July 13.
