The San Mateo County History Museum will be open without admission fees the first Friday of every month as part of its continuing “FREE First Fridays” program.
Located within the 115-year-old “Old Courthouse”, the Museum features exhibits related to the use of natural resources, suburban development, ethnic experience and entrepreneurial achievement on the Peninsula from the time of the Ohlone Indian through today.
At 11:00 AM, a craft and story time is offered for preschool children. At 2:00 PM, a general tour of the Museum is offered for adults.
The “Free First Fridays” program is sponsored by Monterra Credit Union.
