Introducing Cult Oenologist Roberto Cipresso and his Inaugural California Pinot Noir Portfolio Release at San Francisco Wine School

Meet celebrated winemaker Roberto Cipresso as he unveils his inaugural California Pinot Noir portfolio release, where Roberto’s work focuses on vines that are pushed to the limit in “heroic viticulture”, developing complex grapes and producing expressive wine. 

This Cult Oenologist will discuss how his life's work in Italy and Argentina has now led him to California and to Pinot Noir as he presents his latest offering to the world of fine wines with the launch of his California Pinot Noirs, anchored by the 2021 Central Coast Pinot Noir. Selected single-vineyard crus from Cienega Valley, Chalone, and the Santa Cruz Mountains provide their members with access to breathtaking expressions of Pinot Noir from challenging vineyards, while the accessible and eminently pairable Central Coast blend offers enjoyment for every day drinking.

This is an exclusive one-time seated edu-tasting hosted by our own Master Sommelier David Glancy.  All wines will be available for order the night of the event.

Guided Tasting Exercises: Students will enjoy guided tastings selected by Master Sommelier David Glancy and our Cellar Master to bring learning objectives to life and practice your tasting techniques.
