The rare treasures of Piedmont are finally here!
White truffles from Alba have landed at Donato Enoteca, and chef Donato Scotti has created exclusive new dishes that highlight the one-of-a-kind earthy flavor of white truffles. If you've never tried them, this is your chance.
The truffles are flown in from Italy once a week to assure freshness, and dishes will be available for lunch and dinner for the entirety of the truffle season, which is often until the first week of December.
Guests can order truffle dishes a la carte, ask for a truffle shaving or indulge in a prix fixe truffle menu for $225 per person.

About the Italian white truffle (Tuber magnatum)
The elusive white truffle is a culinary gem renowned for its rarity and exquisite aroma and flavor. Its exterior skin is pale yellow or ochre colored; its interior is intricately marbled with white veins and can range in color from creamy white to pinkish white. Its unparalleled flavor profile is a symphony of fresh garlic, cheese, and shallot. Grown primarily in Northern Italy, it has a short harvest season and can cost up to $4,000 a pound.
