Joy Jam at Pie Ranch

Joy Jam is an effervescent and soulful opportunity to cultivate community and strengthen connections while sharing food, story, and love of place. The festival encompasses an abundance of cultural expressions, including: live storytelling; local artist activations; pop-up food and culinary experiences; immersive installations for collective visioning, poetry, and other creative projects; live music; walking the land while hearing stories of soils, seeds, crops and animals; dancing; and, of course, some pie. Enjoy live music by Samba Dá, LoCura, La Familia de la Calle, Karamo Susso, Aviva le Fey, Teacher Barb, and more.

What brings you joy? We imagine you’ll find it at this event, whether through conversations about what it means to care for the lands, waters, and peoples who nourish us; connecting with new or old friends; laughing (and perhaps shedding a few tears) while listening to funny, moving stories; or by dancing together! Joy Jam will be a lively celebration of our interconnected relationships: a day of celebration and solidarity for the future of food.

Tickets are on a sliding scale from $60-$10 for adults; $5 for ages 11-18; Free for children 10 and under and self-identified elders.
