About
Join us on Saturday, February 1 as we celebrate the Year of the Snake. The Lunar New Year is one of the most important holidays in Asian heritage, often celebrated with big family gatherings, gift giving, the eating of symbolic foods, and displays of festive decorations–all focused on bringing good luck for the New Year and celebrating the imminent arrival of spring.
Inside the Museum, kids can participate in activity stations based on the Chinese zodiac. They can create a paper lantern, make a red envelope, use an abacus, make a chopstick rest and more. Last admission at 3:45 PM.
On Courthouse Square, Redwood City will be presenting a variety of performances to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
