PREVIEW RECEPTION Sneaker Wave, featuring 20 Bay Area Artists

Half Moon Bay is known for “sneaker waves,” potentially deadly waves that suddenly surge much farther up the beach than expected, overtaking the unaware. M. Stark Gallery’s second exhibition, Sneaker Wave, is a group show featuring work with themes related to capitalism’s lack of respect for nature, though our unforgiving and omnipotent natural environment will survive climate change even if humans do not. Sneaker Wave serves to introduce the M Stark Gallery broader aesthetic to Half Moon Bay and beyond.
