SMIP Ranch Produce is a private farm located in the hills above Woodside that grows ingredients exclusively for Bacchus Management Group's family of restaurants. A partnership between the landowner and Bacchus allows for five acres of the land to produce custom-grown ingredients, grown naturally, specific to the chefs' needs.

The hyper-seasonal produce is made available to you through a weekly CSA program. Boxes are filled with a rotating selection of farm-fresh ingredients, and delivered to four Bay Area pick-up spots: Spruce in San Francisco; The Village Pub and The Village Bakery in Woodside; and Mayfield Bakery & Cafe in Palo Alto.

Seasonal subscriptions are available, in addition to the option of purchasing a box on a week-by-week basis. Subscriptions are $26/week, a single week's box is $28. Pick-up occurs every Wednesday between 1 and 6 p.m. Each box includes a selection of the season's finest ingredients which change weekly, so you can look forward to enjoying some of the finest local ingredients at the peak of freshness. Each box you receive will contain 7-8 items hand-picked the day before, including a mix of greens (heirloom lettuces, mustard greens, arugula, kale), roots (carrots, potatoes, turnips, beets, radishes), alliums (onions, leeks, chives), and herbs, as well as various seasonal specialties (strawberries, tomatoes, wild plums, summer squash, and more). This season, our CSA subscription will run from July 18th - December 19th. In addition to the ingredients included each box, we offer limited add-ons which can be purchased and added to next week's box. When available, these include herb bundles, decorative flower bouquets, lavender bunches, and other crops that are in abundance, as well as honey collected from honeybees at SMIP Ranch.
