WHAT WE GROW
Lolla Rossa
Red Butter Lettuce
Pepper – Padron
Named after the town where they originated. Padron peppers are harvested when they are 1-2 inches long. About 1 out of 20 fruits will be hot, and the rest mild. Padrons are most often served sautéed in olive oil with a little sea salt and eaten as tapas. They are also a great addition to the inside of a cheese burger.
Squash – Yellowfin
These vibrant yellow squashes pair beautifully with green zucchinis and have a delicate buttery flavor.
Squash – Y Star
Bright yellow uniform scallops with a pale green spot on the blossom end. When harvested small they are sweet and tender. Great for the pan or stuffed and baked as a side dish or appetizer.
Zucchini – Dunja
Late spring thru early fall. Dark green tender fruits taste best when harvested between 4-6 inches long. Great for the grill and in stir frys.
Cucumber – Corinto
Slicing cucumber with a crisp, fresh taste. Perfect for salads, sandwiches or snacking.
Tomato – Cherry Bomb
Bite size and great for snacking! Vivid red color with a classic cherry tomato flavor – firm, sweet and well-balanced.
Tomato – New Girl
Medium in size. Excellent flavor. Slice and place on a plate, drizzle with olive oil and chopped fresh basil.
Also great cut up in salads or sliced on sandwich.
Beet – Touchstone Gold
Mild, sweet flavor. Great fresh or cooked.
Bright orange skin with a beautiful golden yellow colored flesh that retains its color when cooked.
Beet – Merlin
Smooth earthy flavor. High sugar content gives them a wonderful sweet flavor.
Bake, roast or boil. Great in a salad. Dark green leaves are tasty as well.
