A hybrid event is a tradeshow, conference, seminar, workshop, or other types of meetings that combine a "live" in-person event with a "virtual" online component. A virtual event is an online event that involves people interacting in a virtual environment on the web, rather than meeting in a physical location.

Here in the San Francisco Peninsula, our partner venues and audio/visual companies have pivoted to becoming experts in hosting and running hybrid and virtual events. For example, our organization hosted a hybrid event at the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley with technical support from PSAV.
