Buri Buri Park
Tucked away from the main street is this popular spot in South San Francisco, where enthusiasts can play pickleball on tennis courts. The park features four courts, which are free to use. The lines are permanent and portable nets are available. Reservations aren’t required.

Red Morton Park
Red Morton Park in Redwood City has a whole host of outdoor activities to choose from, including pickleball of course. The park has public bathrooms, a skatepark, tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball courts, and more. There is no fee to play pickleball, just need to get in line.

When the weather isn’t sunny, picklers head to this South San Francisco pickleball court to get in a game. There are four indoor hard courts with permanent lines and portable nets. Courts can be reserved ahead of time and there is a $4 fee to play.

Washington Park in Burlingame is one of the most active pickleball spots on the Peninsula. The facility offers four outdoor dedicated courts on a hard concrete surface, all with permanent lines and nets. It’s free to play and known for its friendly, welcoming community—there’s almost always someone up for a match. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, making it a good place for both casual and competitive players.

San Mateo Central Park
Luckily for picklers in the area, the city of San Mateo has very active pickleball community! The park is popular for its baseball and soccer fields, lovely Japanese tea garden, proximity to downtown San Mateo, and so much more. It's no surprise that Central Park has become such a popular place to play this lively sport. The two dedicated pickleball courts have permanent lines, but you'll need to bring your own nets to play.

Los Prados Park (San Mateo)

With a basketball court, playground, and four outdoor pickleball courts, Westborough Park’s free pickleball courts are popular with the locals. Leo J. Ryan Park - Foster City
Offering a weekly pickleball league meet-up, group lessons, and regular pick-up sessions, Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City is one of the more popular places to play pickleball in the Bay Area. There are six outdoor acrylic courts with permanent lines and nets. Online reservations are free of charge for select courts and court timings.

War Memorial Community Center- Daly City
Rain or shine, you can always get in a game of pickleball at Daly City’s War Memorial Community Center. Amenities include restrooms, water, wheelchair accessibility, and lights.
