Our San Mateo County farms are in full harvest during these months, and you can pick your own produce or visit farm animals at a goat dairy farm in Pescadero. Many of the museums on the Peninsula are family-friendly venues that offer great Halloween events too.

Winter Holiday Events on The Peninsula
In November and December, the holidays come alive with tree lightings, festive downtown holiday street fairs, shopping specials, and Christmas events. The Hillsdale Shopping Center hosts a huge tree lighting event annually, and many of our cities, such as Redwood City, host their own festive downtown events. If you are looking for a festive activity, visit the Filoli Historic House & Garden during the holiday season, or head to the Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden in Palo Alto, which offers holiday workshops like wreath making.
