The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden, a non-profit organization, is a precious and uncommon resource for everyone. Located in Old Palo Alto, our historic property has a rich legacy, a commitment to education, and year-round beauty. Come see Gamble for yourself—it’s free and the garden is open to the public every day during daylight hours. The Main House, non-lending library, restrooms and offices are open Monday through Friday during administrative hours, 9 am – 2 pm.

Our historic two-and-a-half acre property includes a rose garden, cutting garden, formal herb garden, demonstration bed, wisteria garden, and an allée.   • Description The historic home and garden is perfect for an intimate, special event such as weddings, receptions, special events & celebrations, business meetings, dinners, and retreats. The main house includes the dining room, living room and library and can accommodate up to 50 for assembly or dining. The Carriage House accommodates 50 for assembly or 35 for dining. The outdoor patio holds 50 people for either. The Tea House is suitable for small groups.

  • Space Notes The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden is a wonderful setting for your weekday, daytime business rental. We look forward to hosting 25 guests for your meeting or retreat. Rental hours are between 9am-4pm. When you select Gamble Garden for your business rental, you and your guests will enjoy either the Main House Dining Room (with kitchen); the Carriage House and Carriage House Patio (with kitchen); or the Tea House and Tea House Patio.
