The modern Italian menu at Donato Enoteca reflects Executive Chef Donato Scotti’s culinary philosophy of using fresh, simple ingredients in inventive ways that enhance the essence of each flavor. A native of Bergamo, Italy, Chef Scotti's dishes range from homemade pastas and wood-fired pizza, to seasonal salads, wood-roasted seafood and grilled meats. One of the signature stuffed pastas is Agnolotti del Plin, small ravioli stuffed with sausage, veal and rabbit served with a tomato & onion sauce. Donato Enoteca is one of the best places in the Bay Area to enjoy fresh truffles in season. The restaurant also has a small market inside with fresh-made cookies and sauces and imported Italian specialty items.
In addition to a full-service bar, Donato Enoteca has an impressive selection of both hard-to-find and classic Italian wines by the glass and bottle. Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, Donato Enoteca can accommodate private parties from 10 to 120 people year round in an exquisite casual elegant environment. There's also a protected patio that accommodates up to 60. Donato Enoteca is open Tuesday-Sunday for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Reservations are recommended.
