Grounded in a values-based approach to land stewardship, Fifth Crow Farm is a dynamic and diversified organic farm in Pescadero, CA. Founded in 2008 with a shoestring budget, a supportive local community, and ambitious dreams, we strive to bring eaters the highest quality, best tasting, and most nutritious food possible. We are situated in the Cloverdale Valley, 45 miles from San Francisco and 35 miles from Santa Cruz.
Primarily a market farm selling to farmers’ markets and restaurants in San Francisco and San Mateo County, we also have a nearly 200 member CSA. We operate on 80 acres: 30 acres of row crops, a 24-variety apple orchard, a young pear orchard, and a pastured egg operation consisting of 2 flocks of about 350 beautiful ladies – all heritage breeds.
CSA Boxes
We are excited to announce that this coming season our CSA will be partnering with HARVIE, an online platform that will allow us to offer a more customized and user friendly CSA experience.
For $30/week, you get a weekly box of 8-10 items based on the preferences you set when you sign up. Each week you will receive an e-mail with a list of what will be in your box and you have 24-48 hours to make any swaps or adjustments you want before we pick and deliver it to a site near you.

About the Farmer
Fifth Crow is owned by three partners: John Vars, Mike Irving, and Teresa Kurtak. Though they are pretty young for farmers, each of them has over a decade of farming experience. The three of them met at and are graduates of the UCSC Farm & Garden program.
