San Francisco Wine School strives to open the world of wine and other beverages to professionals and enthusiasts everywhere. We help people of all levels break into the wine industry, advance their career, or simply pursue their passions. Founded by Master Sommelier David Glancy, we're the largest wine school in the country, offering the most thoughtful approach to wine. Our venue is available for rent and our themed private receptions, tastings, team building activities and dining experiences "edutain" all interests. Classes and Events are hosted at our place, your place, online, or in hybrid format. Tasting kits can be delivered across the U.S. Memberships are available but not required. We're LGBTQIA+ friendly and a Snob Free Zone.
ADA Access is available as well as plenty of affordable parking, and walkable public transportation.
Our state-of-the-art AV system is included with all venue rentals. Multiple mobile 80" monitors and Zoom Room technology puts your content in just the right place and supports integrated in-person/online hybrid experiences for both "roomers" and "Zoomers"!

San Francisco Wine School has been providing world class wine education and events since 2011. Bring us to your location, come to our gorgeous education & event center, or join us virtually for the private tasting or dining experience of your choice. Theme possibilities are endless! We source our beverages from across the globe to create the ultimate tasting experience, custom tasting kits can be delivered to almost any state, and our chef will blow your mind.
Rent Our Venue
Our gorgeous, sunlight-filled wine education & events center is also available for rent and conveniently located just five minutes from San Francisco International Airport. This top floor venue boasts 16’ high coved ceilings, eight 12’ tall arched windows, and gorgeous 180 degree views of the San Bruno Mountains, South San Francisco City Hall and the San Francisco Bay, making it the perfect place to enjoy classes, industry seminars and tastings and host a wide variety of private events.
Two sets of moveable acoustic walls allow us to configure the 4,000 sq ft center in a variety of ways - from three private rooms to one grand event space. Modular furniture allows table seating for 130 and walk-around gatherings of up to 400.

Private Events
We offer private wine educational programs and seminars at your location, in our classroom, online or in one integrated hybrid experience for a combined in-person and online event. Themes can be highly specialized based on the audience. We customize the content and format so it’s relevant to your needs—from serious educational programs for wine/hospitality industry staff to consumer team-buildings, dining experiences and other fun, social, private events for wine enthusiasts.

Virtual & Hybrid Experiences
Our hands-on, edu-taining virtual experiences have really pushed our entrepreneurial spirit during the pandemic and become a huge hit!
