Scott was born and raised in San Francisco and worked as a photojournalist in the Bay Area for years before starting his own portrait and event photography business more than 20 years ago. His clients range from biotech companies and banks, to non profits and real estate offices. He also does photography for city and county government officials, as well as local police departments and the Superior Court Judges of San Mateo County.
While most of his clients are on the Peninsula, Scott also travels across the state as the photographer for The California Educator, a bi-monthly magazine distributed to teachers, legislators and the media.
Scott’s work appears in books, magazines, and other publications, as well as on the web, and subjects have included sports legends Joe Montana and Willie Mays, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty, and actors Robin Williams, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Lou Diamond Philips.
