About the Farmer
Webb Ranch began in 1922, under the guidance of George Webb and his wife, Florence. George developed fields of strawberries, blackberries and raspberries and delivered the produce to the local markets. Stanley Webb, the youngest of George and Florence's six children, assumed management of the ranch in 1958, after completing service in the US Air Force.
Stan’s entrepreneurial spirit oversaw the growth of Webb Ranch by expanding the farming produce to include crops of corn, green beans, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes and bell peppers. In addition to the farming of produce, Stanley raised red oat hay on the local Stanford University lands. They began offering boarding for horses in 1960 and, since then, their stable has grown to the present day capacity of 250 horses! Generations of equestrians have enjoyed the Webb Ranch and continue to do so today, contributing to its family atmosphere. Webb Ranch has been continually owned and operated by the Webb Family since 1922, with the fifth generation currently living on the ranch and managing its daily operations. It is the Webb Family’s wish to continue with the family tradition of providing a warm, friendly, safe and fun family environment to its equestrian and equine friends and providing the highest and freshest quality produce to the community and their customers.
Our u-pick costs $4.00 for admission (0-4 and 65+ are free) and $5.00 per pound of berries. We take cash, check, credit and debit. We have blackberries and raspberries. Please remember, the field has a limited amount of ripe berries on any given day. The earlier you show up, the better the selection. This year, we planted cherry tomatoes on the raspberry side of our u-pick field. Call the produce hotline to check for availability.
We sell some of our seasonal produce on site. Each day may be different, so come in to see what we have.
Pre-orders of berry flats may be arranged for pickup at the u-pick stand, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We also have a bounce house for the kids to play in. We do not allow any pets of any kind at our u-pick. We also allow for special events in the berry field, including birthdays and corporate events. If you would like to schedule something like this, please email email@example.com.
