2026 Events Resource Guide
As an official Bay Area Host Committee partner, we're excited to roll out the official Bay Area Host Committee Playbook - Version 4, which can be found HERE. It maps out pertinent details about both events, including what businesses can and can't say or do as it relates to brand IP and language. If you are a city or business interested in highlighting either event, we highly recommend downloading and reviewing it.
Key changes include:
- Page 9: Simplified language and categorization related to FIFA's non-commercial public screening event types
- Page 19, FAQs: Clarified current license fee structure for non-commercial large-scale (1k+ attendee) screenings and related guidance
- Page 28: Updated branding guidance for advertising FIFA World Cup public screenings and included information about where to find FIFA-compliant, customizable flyer and social media templates that restaurants and bars can use to promote public screening events
- Removal of Super Bowl-specific guidance throughout
