BAHC Playbook Update November 2026

Updates found in this version include:

  • Pages 5, 6: Updated language to clarify Super Bowl trademark restrictions

  • Pages 12, 20: Removed third column (commercial public viewing) and updated language to highlight license requirement for events with 1,000+ guests

  • Page 27: Removed Version 2 from update plan, updated Version 3 release date to January 2026, and shifted FIFA public viewing license application updates from Version 2 to Version 3

  • Clean zone guidance has been removed in deference to the NFL and FIFA's terms and conditions

  • Updated FAQs and language clarifying that FIFA's public screening license portal will open in Q4 2025 and that Version 3 of the playbook will address licensing updates

FAQ's

Q: Can we charge admission to a FIFA viewing party?

A: Unfortunately, not FIFA does not allow for tickets or sponsorship to be sold for viewing parties.

Q: Is there a license fee for public viewing parties under 1,000?

A: No, there is no license fee for these screenings.

Q: Can we host public screenings of NFL games?

A: No, the NFL does not allow for public screenings of games.

Q: We saw there was a countdown clock in Santa Clara. Can this be brought to other events?

A: This was a gift to the city of Santa Clara from FIFA, and as such, they manage where it goes.  We have reached out to see if they would be open to having it be at other events. In Addition, adidas maybe providing.

Super Bowl LX will take place on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, in Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
